David practices in the areas of business law, tax law, wills, trusts and probate. He has experience representing individuals and businesses in all phases of the life cycle of a business, from formation to sale. David has particular experience in the tax aspects of forming and operating businesses. Additionally, David’s experience has included the preparation and probate of wills, trusts and powers of attorney.
David is licensed to practice law in Georgia. He graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2002. He also practiced law as an associate attorney with the business, tax, and estate planning law firm, Gregory A. Garcia & Associates, LLC in Athens, Georgia from 2002 until 2009.
David is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the United States Tax Court, and the American Bar Association. He serves on the Executive Board of the North Georgia Jaycees. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Athens House, Inc. and Athens Campus Advance, Inc., non-profit organizations based in Athens, Georgia.
David lives with his wife, Heather, and their two daughters in Watkinsville. He enjoys reading history and economics, particularly church history, the economics of baseball, and the Austrian School of economics..
